Adoption of Cool Biz Policy

Mori Hamada & Matsumoto has decided to continue its “Cool Biz” policy this year and will encourage its attorneys and staff to wear cooler clothing during the period from June 1, 2013 to September 30, 2013.
We ask for your understanding if you notice Mori Hamada & Matsumoto attorneys or staff dressed more informally than usual during meetings or on other business occasions. At the same time, please do not hesitate to wear more casual business attire when you visit the firm, as room temperatures at the firm will be set higher according to this policy.

IMPORTANT WARNING: Billing fraud or other fraudulent activity involving the deceptive use of the name of Mori Hamada & Matsumoto or those of our lawyers

Mori Hamada & Matsumoto has received information about incidents of alleged billing fraud involving the deceptive use of the name of our firm or those of our lawyers. We have also received reports involving the unauthorized use of the name of our firm or those of our lawyers to advertise a seminar that was falsely purported to have been sponsored by our firm or our lawyers. Mori Hamada & Matsumoto had no involvement whatsoever in these incidents. Please be cautious if you receive any suspicious billing statement or other correspondence demanding payment that purports to be from or connected with our firm or our lawyers.
