Most of the firm's lawyers have spent a portion of their careers studying and working in at least one country outside of Japan, such as the U.S. or an EU member state or any of a number of countries in Asia. Through this experience, the firm's lawyers have enhanced their ability to assist international clients when they need legal services in Japan. Similarly, the firm's broad network of relationships with law firms throughout the world enables the firm to assist Japan-based clients with their matters in other countries. The firm's international practice is also enhanced through its branch offices in Beijing and Shanghai.
