The FinanceAsia Japan Achievement Awards 2009 have been announced, and two deals in which the firm was engaged were awarded as follows:

・The Global Offering of Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (total value: 12 billion USD) received BEST SECONDARY EQUITY OFFERING. The firm was engaged in this deal as legal counsel to the underwriter’s Japanese counsel.

・The TOB deal of Sanyo Electric Co., Ltd. by Panasonic Corporation received BEST PRIVATE EQUITY DEAL. The firm was engaged in this deal as legal counsel to Sanyo Electric.
