Comments from Kana Manabe

I resumed my work at the firm from November 4 having completed my studies at University of Michigan Law School, trained at Kirkland & Ellis LLP, Los Angeles, and worked as legal adviser to the Ministry of Justice in the Kingdom of Cambodia.
At University of Michigan Law School, I concentrated my studies on the theory of civil litigation such as class action and discovery. At Kirkland & Ellis LLP, I experienced disputes involving cross border issues. In the Kingdom of Cambodia, I worked on drafting and implementing laws relating to the Civil Code and the Civil Procedure Code.
In making use of these experiences, it is my sincere desire to further improve our legal service to international clients, especially in the field of dispute resolution.
