Message from Mr. Ikeda

Coming back from study and legal training overseas, I decided to move from my previous firm and take the opportunity to work at Mori Hamada & Matsumoto.

Since registering as an attorney-at-law, I have practiced in a wide range of legal areas, concentrating on those concerning anti-monopoly law, intellectual property law, litigation and dispute resolution at Oh-Ebashi LPC & Partners, a legal professional corporation in Osaka Prefecture. In 2005, I was granted a great opportunity to participate at the forefront of actual practice relating to the Antimonopoly Act and related laws at the Investigation Bureau of the General Secretariat, Japan Fair Trade Commission. Subsequently, I cultivated my understanding of anti-trust law and intellectual property law in America through a master’s course at the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law, and I also experienced the cutting-edge of actual practice in these legal areas in America at Kirkland & Ellis LLP where I did my legal training.

At Mori Hamada & Matsumoto, I hope to utilize my previous experience and develop my expertise in anti-monopoly law, intellectual property law and related areas, and I will do my best to assist our clients by striving to serve them with an international point of view. I look forward to receiving your support and guidance.
