Message from Mr. Ito

My name is Kota Ito, and I am honored to join Mori Hamada & Matsumoto.

After qualifying as an attorney in 2012, I spent about three years and 11 months at Ushijima & Partners, Attorneys-at-Law handling a diverse and broad range of legal matters, focused mainly on corporate governance, legal compliance, real estate, IT system development, and family and inheritance issues involving relatives of different nationalities.  Subsequently, from October 2016, I was closely involved for about two years and two months in matters relating to financial regulations associated with securities inspections, corporate governance, anti-money laundering and combating the financing of terrorism, and cross-border related matters in the Financial Services Agency and as a special inspector in the Securities Business Monitoring Division in the Executive Bureau of the Securities and Exchange Surveillance Commission (SESC).

I will do my best at the firm to utilize my experience and further develop my expertise to serve our clients.
