Toru Ishiguro, attorney-at-law, who played a pivotal role in the founding of the firm and who dedicated himself to developing many of the firm’s practice areas, notably our capital markets practice, will retire from the firm on December 31, 2019.  He will then launch his own firm, The Law Offices of Toru Ishiguro, in January 2020.

After his retirement, Mr. Ishiguro will become a senior adviser for the firm.  As a senior adviser, we will continue to look to him for advice and support with respect to management of the firm and development of our capital markets practice.  Mr. Ishiguro will also collaborate with us on individual matters as occasion demands and guide the firm’s future leaders.
