Message from Mr. Kato

It is my great pleasure to join Mori Hamada & Matsumoto LPC and appreciate this opportunity to introduce myself.  Since being admitted as an attorney in December 2012, I have worked in small and medium-sized law firms, working with a diverse and large number of clients, from companies listed on the First Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange to small and medium-sized enterprises and individuals.  As a result, I have gained experience in a wide range of cases, including litigation and disputes, human resources and labor, bankruptcy administration, intellectual property, M&A, new business support, and general corporate.  While working in these diverse fields and matters, I am grateful to have not only expanded my knowledge and experience as an attorney, but gained breadth as a person.  I gained multi-faceted insights into the nature of people, which is the minimum constituent unit handled in the field of law, and when I faced any issue, including disputes that felt to be going backward, I did not think of those issues as being something that was only relevant at that time, yet cultivated an approach of how I could leverage that experience in the future.  In my work at Mori Hamada & Matsumoto I will further hone my knowledge, experience and insights into human nature gained to date in order to provide clients with optimal strategy solutions and a future that exceeds expectations in accordance with the ever-changing social situation and environment, while always remaining thankful for the connections with those around me.  Going forward I will continue to work with all my heart to fulfill my duties.
