Message from Mr. Kazuhito Imaizumi

I am honored to be joining Mori Hamada & Matsumoto.

In December 2013, I was appointed as a public prosecutor and worked at the Tokyo District Public Prosecutors Office, the Kawagoe Branch of Saitama District Public Prosecutors Office,  Osaka District Public Prosecutors Office, and the Kawasaki Branch of Yokohama District Public Prosecutors Office, before retiring from that position in March 2021.  During my career of over seven years as a public prosecutor, I worked on investigations and trials for general criminal cases, as well as independent investigations involving corporate financial and economic crimes in the Special Investigation Department and the Special Criminal Investigation Department. In addition, in 2019, I was dispatched to the École Nationale de la Magistrature for about one year as a Public Prosecutor and Researcher Abroad of the Ministry of Justice, where I conducted research on France’s judicial system.

At Mori Hamada & Matsumoto, I look forward to leveraging my experience to date, and will strive to further hone my professional expertise to support our clients.
