On December 22, 2022, Misato Kobayashi presented a lecture on legal topics to second-grade senior high school students at The Second High School, Tokyo University of Agriculture (located in Takasaki City, Gunma), who will soon reach the age of 18.

In the lecture, she explained perspectives to keep in mind as a consumer after reaching the age of majority by giving quizzes and examples of issues.  She also explained perspectives for voters to consider when voting and commented on matters such as the lay judge system.
