Mori Hamada & Matsumoto received the “Family Friendly Award 2018” from the Daini Tokyo Bar Association. The Family Friendly Award is awarded to those member firms that implement advanced and effective measures to promote a favorable work-life-balance. This is the fourth year this award has been presented and we are the first firm among the biggest law firms to win this award.  The award is based on the Firm’s parental support program, which allows new parents to manage their working hours, control their workload and consult a mentor to provide support at work. The program also introduces a financial support system in the form of subsidies for child care services such as babysitting and daycare.
