Thomson Reuters has announced the results of DEALWATCH AWARDS 2017, and the following five deals in which the firm acted in received awards.

• "Issuer of the Year" The firm acted as issuer’s counsel in the Euro-denominated senior notes issuance by Asahi Group Holdings, Ltd.
• "Offshore Bond of the Year" US dollar-denominated undated subordinated notes by SoftBank Group Corp., in which the firm acted as issuer's counsel.
• "Equity Deal of the Year" A global follow-on offering by JAPAN POST HOLDINGS Co., Ltd., in which the firm acted as counsel to the issuer and the selling shareholder.
• "IPO of the Year" The global IPO of SG HOLDINGS CO., LTD., in which the firm acted as underwriters’ counsel.
• "Innovative Equity Deal of the Year" A third-party allotment of shares to overseas investors by TOSHIBA CORPORATION, in which the firm acted as counsel to Goldman Sachs Japan Co., Ltd., the placement agent for the issuer.
