The 2nd draft of the final report about lowering the age of majority under the Japanese Civil Code was put together at the 15th meeting of the Committee on the Age of Majority under the Japanese Civil Code, which is a subcommittee of the Legislative Council of the Ministry of Justice and is chaired by Kaoru Kamata (Professor, Waseda University).
