Mori Hamada & Matsumoto to open office in Ho Chi Minh City in August 2018
Mori Hamada & Matsumoto (“MHM”) is pleased to announce its continued expansion in South East Asia, with the opening of an office in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Our HCMC office, led by senior corporate partner, Takuya Eguchi, will start its operation in August 2018.
Takuya Eguchi specializes in general corporate, mergers and acquisitions, compliance and dispute resolution and has substantial experience in ASEAN and China-related transactions. He will work closely with our offices in Tokyo, Singapore, Bangkok, Yangon, Beijing and Shanghai to provide seamless support to our clients.
Commenting on this expansion, Takuya Eguchi said “MHM has been advising Japanese clients in Vietnam for many years and our presence in HCMC will significantly enhance our capability to serve our clients, responding to the increased demand from them for legal services in Vietnam. Through this expansion, together with our Japan and ASEAN offices, we will be able to provide constant on the ground assistance and respond to our clients’ needs faster”.
