The firm’s lawyers Yusuke Takamiya, Shingo Ushirogata, and Yusuke Ueda contributed to a recently released research report (on recent trends in competition environment and competition policies, etc.) sponsored by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (a research project related to economic and industrial policy and the fourth industrial revolution) (managed by Mitsubishi Research Institute, Inc.). Their contributions included cooperation in the collection of information on recent trends in foreign competition policies and comparative analysis for the purpose of the future development of the competition environment in relation to the following issues: sustainability and competition policies; digital cartel and competition policies; and personalized pricing and competition policies.
