Hiromasa Yamauchi, Kota Yamaoka, Karin Kobayashi, Kotaro Motoshima, and Masumi Sato provide law-related education to junior and senior high school students in a children’s home

On August 20, 2021, five of the firm’s lawyers, Hiromasa Yamauchi, Kota Yamaoka, Karin Kobayashi, Kotaro Motoshima, and Masumi Sato, conducted the “Watashi no Mirai (My Future) Program” through which they, together with representatives from “Watashi no Mirai” (a general incorporated association) and J.P. Morgan, provided law-related education to junior and senior high school students in a children’s home.

The attorneys presented information about familiar legal issues, such as those related to leasing and renting accommodation, consumer-related trouble, and dangers related to social media, in a quiz-based format and worked with the students to deepen their understanding of these issues.

This year, the presentation was made online, and lively discussions regarding the aforementioned legal issues were held with each group.

The students conveyed that they enjoyed the quiz-based format, were able to develop a deeper understanding through the discussions, and wanted to participate again in the future.
