Before joining Mori Hamada & Matsumoto, Kensuke worked in the legal department of a major Japanese bank and then worked at the Tokyo office of an international law firm. He has experience working on numerous project finance transactions acting for financial institutions and sponsors. He has advised large financial institutions and Fintech companies, both in Japan and overseas, on financial regulations (such as the Banking Act, the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act, and the Payment Services Act, etc.). He has handled cross-border finance deals on behalf of government and private banks.
